Description

Pamukkale and Hierapolis are two well-known tourist attractions in Turkey that are often visited together in one tour. Pamukkale is a natural wonder known for its spectacular calcium carbonate terraces that resemble a white staircase. Hierapolis is an ancient city well known for its stunning ruins and history. Not far from Pamukkale is the ancient city of Hierapolis. Hierapolis is a former Roman city known for its impressive ruins and rich history. The city is home to a large number of historical sights, including a theatre, a temple, a thermal bath and a necropolis. It is also possible to explore the ancient sites located around Hierapolis, including the necropolis and ancient theaters. This tour where we will show you Pamukkale is a day tour. We pick you up from your hotel in the morning and our journey begins. First we will visit Pamukkale, then we will go to Hierapolis.

Pamukkale is located in the city of Denizli. The distance to Fethiye is about 230 km. It has a wonderful view. We are sure it will fascinate you as soon as you see it. Pamukkale is famous for its travertines and hot springs. The magnificent sight of the travertines attracts a lot of attention, especially from tourists. You can hike on the travertines if you wish. If you want you can take lots of photos in front of these beautiful white travertines. There is also medicinal water here, which has been used for therapies since ancient times. It is also believed that this healing water helps with many diseases. Pamukkale is known as one of the healthiest cities in the world. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. If you want to benefit from the healing waters and enjoy this beauty longer, you can stay in the facilities near the travertines.

After our trip to Pamukkale we will visit Hierapolis. Hierapolis is also called the Holy City. The reason for this name are the temples and religious buildings in the city. The city dates back to the Hellenistic period and is 2500 years old. It also houses architectural artifacts from the Roman and Hellenistic periods. The ancient city of Hierapolis has more than one part. These sections include places such as the Theater of Hierapolis, Frontinus Street, the Agora, the building of the Tritonic Fountain, and the main building of the Ion Column. You can visit these sections if you wish. Also worth seeing are the sculptures that were found during excavations in and around Hierapolis. The city is famous for its woven fabrics and stone embroidery. The Roman bath is now used as an archaeological museum. It is one of the most important ancient cities not only in Turkey but also in the world. It has been very well preserved to this day. Just like the travertine, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

After visiting this place we end the day and head to the hotel. It is important to note that the tour is a challenging experience and requires a certain level of fitness and a spirit of adventure. Before participating, participants should carefully read and follow all instructions and safety measures.
